Everyone has friends, and we define friendships in our own personal way. I want to give my definition of a friend. I think first, I better give you what I think is the meaning of life, before I can define what is a friend. Life is like a treasure hunt. First you must find yourself. Then you must find God (which is the same as the first task if you only knew). After finding God you must then find out the unique gifts bestowed on you by God. Once this is accomplished, spend the rest of your life walking the path of your destiny.. Now that I have defined my meaning to life, I can now explain friendship. A friend is one that furthers you along your path to your destiny. If you have a person that keeps you on the path, that is a friend. If they take you off your path, that is an enemy. Most people due to desiring comfort and companionship have inadvertently surrounded themselves with enemies.
