Watching Television does have its good points and bad points.
But, I believe the negative aspects of television far outweighs its positives.
I will give the negatives of television the acronym of H.I.C.I.
The "H" represents Homogenization: They take naturally different elements of society and make us all the same (homogeneous).
The first "I" stands for Indoctrination: Television formulates for it's viewers what to think about and more importantly, what not to think about.
The "C" is for Competition. You are naturally (from birth) in a race to find yourself. Television gives everyone artificial desires that compel the masses to compete with each other.
The second "I" is for Idolization: Television coerces the masses into following and worshiping the famous, the rich and the wealthy, without ever paying attention to the most powerful.
