They say the average man and woman has between 60,000 and 70,000 thoughts a day. According to Joe Dispenza, 90% of all thoughts are focused on the past. If this is the truth, we collectively must pause on this reality. We are spending 90% of our waking life thinking about a life that is gone, never to return. Not only do we focus on our history (and for most our distant history), but we are also looking at the past through our distorted perception of the actual facts of our former life.
In the Bible it states, "As a man thinketh, so is he." I think I have found a way (by no means the first) to remove stress. I think the new definition of stress should be the inability to stay focused on the present moment. Our Creator gave us this precious moment, then the next, then the next moment, and so on. It is perfectly fine to reflect on the past, or contemplate the future, but most have let go of the wheel of our minds and allowed our thoughts to run wild regarding past people and events.
According to the Bible, you are a man or woman based on how you think. Think about that!
