What's the difference between Satan and a Devil?

It seems like I am saying the same word twice when I say Satan and devil, but there is a difference. A devil is one who goes against what has been set down by God and the prophets as what is right and correct. A devil is one who knowingly (or unknowingly) condemns him or herself in the eyesight of God thru continuous acts of evil and unrighteousness. A devil is one who knows right, but consciously chooses wrong as a way of life. Now Satan is one who convinces (or tricks) people to be devils.
